Welcome to Unsolicited Crap

Welcome to Unsolicited Crap – the web log devoted to showcasing all things that are unsolicited crap.

“What does that mean?” you might ask. That’s a fair question. In response, I direct your attention to the following definitions in the Oxford dictionary:

Unsolicited:

Not asked for; given or done voluntarily

Crap:

1. Something of extremely poor quality

1.1 Nonsense

1.2 Rubbish; Junk

2 Excrement

I hear you…”That’s great, but what does is all really mean to me?” To answer that we can look at the Urban Dictionary definitions:

Unsolicited:

Descriptive of anything that a recipient did not actively choose to receive, but particularly:

1. Email or IM messages. See spam.

2. Browser or Windows Messenger windows. See pop-up.

3. Malware downloads and network transfers. See adware, spyware, scumware, virus, trojan, and worm.

Crap:

What one says when one is afraid to say shit

…and of course,

Shit:

Originally a slang term for fecal matter now commonly used as an all-purpose exclamation, noun, verb, adjective or adverb)

Therefore, according to the Oxford dictionary, and clarified by the Urban Dictionary, this blog is essentially devoted to anything someone or something tried to (either successfully or unsuccessfully) give you (whether physically or not) that you did not want nor request.

The way I see it, if I want something I will research it and seek it out. Anything else is usually unsolicited crap.

-Enjoy
